What does it actually mean to have religious freedom?

What does it actually mean to have religious freedom? In more than 80% of the world’s countries, the government has interfered with the worship practices of its citizens.

But what if I told you that’s exactly where Jesus told us to go to share the gospel?

In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus gives His disciples the Great Commission where they were commanded to go and make disciples of all nations. But the catch is, we can do this only because of the authority of Jesus. The authority of Jesus is what makes the power of the Gospel come to life, what brings light to the darkest of places – because it is Him that defeated death and the grave.

Religious freedom doesn’t exist unless we go into the most dangerous places to free people from the bondage of sin. There is no place on earth where the gospel should not be preached and where disciples should not be made, because it’s all under the authority of Jesus. Let the kingdom come.
