What is the Equip Conference?
In the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), Jesus calls each of us to not only be disciples, but to make disciples! To make disciples in our homes, at work, and in our neighborhoods. But to do that, we have to ask 2 questions of ourselves; Am I a disciple? And do I know how to make disciples? The Equip Conference is an opportunity for us to pour into you and give you some of the tools that you will need in your journey of making disciples. At this conference you will encounter Jesus through powerful worship, you’ll expand your vision of discipleship through teaching from our Leadership Team, and you’ll take next steps as a disciplemaker through breakouts.
Who should attend the Equip Conference?
Everyone is called to be a disciple maker, that means you! Because of the depth and intensity of the conference, we are recommending this conference for all adults as young as juniors in high school.
Is the Equip Conference the same thing as an Equip group but in one weekend?
No, the Equip Conference is not the same thing as our Equip group curriculum. Whether you have or haven’t gone through an Equip group before, the Equip Conference is still a great place for you to be! Why is the conference 2-days?
In the same way that we believe in the benefits of sending our students on retreats for an extended time to get with God and away from distractions, we believe that we also need time to retreat from the world. This 2-day conference means that you can get away from distractions and go deeper than you ever thought you could in just one small group, one Sunday morning, one coffee meeting. There will be time for extended worship, sessions from the Pastors on our Lead Team, and breakout sessions from key leaders in your church so that you are given the time and resources you need to be the best disciple-maker you can be.
