The Escape is Stonecreek Wake’s summer retreat held at Panama City Beach on June 27th through 30th! This is a weekend full of fun, worship, and learning more about Jesus. Students will be able to be a part of teachings, worship, and small groups. There are also lots of games, tournaments, and fun on the beach!

General Schedule

We will meet at Stonecreek Church at 9:00am on Friday, June 27 and return around 5:30pm on Monday, June 30.

The Escape Includes

5 sessions consisting of Jesus centered teaching & worship.

Gender and age specific small group time.

Beach games.

Team based competition.

Tons of fun!

WHO IS THE ESCAPE FOR?

The Escape is for rising 7th graders through graduated seniors.

WHAT IS THE MEDICAL RELEASE FORM?

All students are required to have a 2025 medical release form and a copy of their insurance card on file with us. If your student went to Pause 2025, we already have this on file.

WHAT DOES THE COST COVER?

Your cost covers: lodging, transportation, camp meals, session/camp programming, & T-shirt. (students will want to bring extra spending money for the gift/snack shop).

ARE THERE SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE?

We never want finances to be the reason your student can’t experience camp. We have scholarships available for you to apply for.

DO YOU OFFER SIBLING DISCOUNTS?

Yes! If you are registering multiple students in your family… your first child’s registration should be full price, then up to 5 additional children can receive 15% off each.

WHERE WILL THEY BE STAYING?

We are staying at Laguna Beach Christian Retreat, located at 20016 Front Beach Rd, Panama City Beach, FL 32413. Students will be split into rooms with their gender/age specific small group.

HOW WILL THEY BE GETTING TO PANAMA CITY BEACH?

Students will be traveling via charter bus.

WILL THERE BE ADULT CHAPERONES?

Yes, our goal is to create a safe and fun environment for all of our students. Our small group leaders, staff, and volunteers function as chaperones for the weekend. Every room will have 1-3 leaders present.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Deposits are non refundable. Cancellations must be sent by email to wake@stonecreekchurch.org and confirmed with a response email. If a cancellation is made before June 1, 2025, you will receive a full refund minus your non refundable $100 deposit. If a cancellation is made between June 1st and June 14th, you will receive a 50 percent refund. Any cancellations made after June 15th will receive no refund of any kind, however 50% of the cost of registration can be applied towards another student camp/retreat.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE RETREAT?

Students should wear a modest 1-piece swimsuit. Tankinis and bikinis, shirts over two-pieces, or one-pieces with the sides cut out are not permissible. Students must wear clothing or an appropriate cover-up to and from the pool and beach. Halter tops, bare midriffs, spaghetti straps and see through clothing are not permitted. Students should wear fingertip length shorts. Very short shorts are not permitted. Clothing that is distracting, or has inappropriate images or slogans may not be worn.

WHAT IF MY STUDENT CAN'T RIDE THE BUS?

If your student will not be riding the buses to or from The Escape, you must turn in a time away form.
