Vision & Purpose of This Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a full-time Children’s Ministry Assistant. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our children’s ministry department both during the week and on Sundays.
Key Wins:
Creatively approach Stonecreek Kids environment in order to teach the Gospel to children on their level in a fresh, fun, safe, and innovative way. Serve and invest in kids and families at Stonecreek and the surrounding communities. Equip, empower, and develop volunteers to lead others in ministry and discipleship
Job Responsibilities:
Child Care:
• Secure childcare workers for events and activities as needed, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children in attendance.
• Provide support during childcare events, including setup, supervision, ordering meals as needed, and cleanup.
Check-In:
• Enhance the first-time guest experience by providing support to the check-in team, as well as sending postcards to children following their first visit.
• Maintain and set up Check-In equipment for Children’s Ministry services and events.
• Oversee the check-in process for children attending ministry programs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Leading and investing in the check-in team, and developing leaders within the team.
Babies-Toddlers:
• Assist in the preparation and organization of curriculum materials for weekly lessons and special events.
• Manage inventory and procurement of supplies, materials, and resources required for children's ministry activities, adhering to budgetary guidelines.
Pre-K and Kindergarten:
• Assist in the preparation and organization of curriculum materials for weekly lessons and special events.
• Manage inventory and procurement of supplies, materials, and resources needed for children's ministry activities, maintaining budgetary guidelines.
1st-5th Grade:
• Assist in the preparation and organization of curriculum materials for weekly lessons and special events.
• Participate in a weekly rotation of communicators and host on our platform team.
Miscellaneous:
• Collaborate with the children's ministry staff members to support departmental goals and initiatives.
• Stay informed about best practices and trends in children's ministry, seeking opportunities for professional development and growth.
• Operate social media platforms and create engagement from parents on our pages.
• Craft weekly parent email to ensure parents know what their kids are learning and all upcoming events.
• Updating SignPresenter as needed.
• Be ready to jump into any area in Stonecreek Kids and around the church

Desired Qualities:
Education & Experience:
• Previous experience working in a children's ministry or related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and volunteers.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
