We Courageously Go!
We Courageously Go!
Jesus didn’t leave his followers with a religion, he left them with a mission. Our mission is to spread this Jesus movement everywhere we go and to the ends of the earth. Driven by discipleship we live everyday, everywhere, on mission. We are the light in the darkness.
Jesus said the poor you will always have with you (Matthew 26:11). James said true religion is caring for widows and orphans (James 1:27). Jesus said whatever you have done for the prisoner you have done for me (Matthew 25:40). It will be impossible for us to elevate the name of Jesus without caring for the least of these. Over the next 10 years we will give $1,000,000 away to serve the poor, the orphan, the unborn, and the widow. We will partner to see 1000 women and girls set free from trafficking in Jesus' name. We will see foster homes opened and orphans adopted and partner to end the generational cycles of poverty in Clarkston.
An unreached or least-reached people is a people group among which there is no indigenous community of believing Christians with adequate numbers and resources to evangelize this people group without outside assistance. This means there is less than or equal to 5% Christian Adherent AND less than or equal to 2% Evangelical (Joshua Project). For us engaging an unreached people group means at least 2 of these 3 things have happened: A Bible has been translated into that people group's language, a long term worker has been placed in that people group, an indigenous multiplying community of Jesus followers has been established.
We are preparing to plant churches in North Africa, Belgium, Asia and the Dominican Republic.
We believe in the multidimensional impact of sending people on mission the right way. These trips will be local as well as global. We will work locally with our partners in Clarkston to reach the nations that have been brought to us. Additionally, we will send mission teams all over the world. Our focus will be holistic ministry, that empowers and supports indigenous people, works through the local church and prioritizes disciple making and gospel proclamation.
2026 - 2027 MISSIONS
Dominican Republic
July 11-18 2026
July 25 - August 1 2026
April 3rd - 10th 2027 (Wake Youth Mission Trip)
We are partnering with Mission of Hope to send multiple mission trips to the Dominican Republic.
Located in the middle of the country is Mission of Hope’s beautiful Jarabacoa Campus. Serving in the Dominican Republic on a mission trip with Mission of Hope will be a life changing experience for you and your team.
Your missions team will play a vital role in the ministry happening in the Dominican Republic by serving alongside the local churches and leaders to help meet the needs of the people in the communities. Ministry activities include construction projects, medical care and clinics, evangelism, Vacation Bible School, and sports camps.
North Africa
You will encourage and be encouraged by meeting national church planters/leaders from North Africa during a 3 day prayer retreat. Our team will also spend time in a local school for refugee children from Sudan, and come alongside the long term work in spreading hope across this region.
Belgium
May 11-19 2026
Due to the decline in Christianity in Europe, Belgium is one of the most unchurched countries in Europe. Out of the 581 districts in Belgium, 382 have no known church. We have partnered with a Discipleship Movement all across Belgium called Recruits.
“RECRUITS is an aspiring Belgian ‘Disciple Making Movement (DMM)’. They seek to rediscover the ancient art of making disciples and see authentic and radical gospel transformation in their own lives as well as in this nation. In doing so, Recruits aims to contribute to launching a movement of revival and renewal that arises in the heart of Europe and sweeps through the Western world as they see the reality of God’s Kingdom established in our stories, our practices, our communities and our environments.”
South Africa
June 9-22 2026
November 4-16 2026
We will be facilitating two spiritual formation retreats for Young Life leaders from many nations in Africa at a retreat center near Johannesburg, South Africa. Our role is to encourage and refresh these young leaders as they go deeper in their personal relationships with the Lord.
Africans Reaching Africa
ARA’s mission is to mobilize African believers to go as missionaries to unreached people groups in Africa in obedience to the Great Commission. Once a year each Spring, we sponsor a retreat for about 30 missionary families from this region.
Join this trip to bring prayer and encouragement to these missionary families, and be a part of what the LORD is doing in Africa.

What Are we Doing?
Many people don't know this, but Clarkston—a suburb just outside of Atlanta—is home to refugees from every major conflict in the world. Clarkston is the most diverse square mile in the US, and Parc 1000 is one of the biggest neighborhoods in Clarkston. We are devoted to serving and loving this specific community in Clarkston. We have a missionary, Hilary Cheeseman, who lives in the heart of Clarkston and serves the families there. As a church, we want to consistently go to Clarkston and serve.
Most people assume that Belgium is a Christian country; however, due to the decline of Christianity in Europe, it is actually one of the most unchurched countries in the continent. Out of the 581 districts in Belgium, 382 have no known church. It is our mission to have a clear focus on sharing the gospel, discipling people, and surveying areas to unearth places and people who are ready to receive the gospel.

FAQ
Have questions? We have the answers!
The Great Commission is for everyone. We are called to be disciples making disciples. You play a key role in serving God’s people by pointing them to Jesus and encouraging them in their faith. God doesn’t need us to accomplish His mission, but He allows us to play a small role in His great movement around the world.
In order to go and make disciples, we partner with churches, people and organizations who are already advancing the gospel throughout the nations (Mission of Hope in the Dominican Republic, Recruits in Belgium, She is Safe, and Ignite Ministries). Our role on a short-term mission trip is to serve our partners. By coming under their vision, we help the overall impact go further, faster. It’s all for the purpose of the one mission, to make Jesus known. We are on mission for multiple reasons:
You and the rest of your team will fundraise for support from others. We have found that many people don’t have the time or ability to go on a short-term mission trip, but have the desire to be involved in some way. We ask, therefore, that every person going on a trip raise his/her funds by writing letters to friends and family that shares the goal of the trip and the financial requirements to make the trip happen. We have templates and sample letters to help you. We have seen, over and over again, God provide the funding for dozens of global impact trip participants. It is an exciting step of faith and growth in our walk with Christ.
Once confirmed on the trip, you will receive a specific link unique to your trip to send to people to donate directly online to support your trip. All contributions through this process will be tax deductible for the contributor.
Unfortunately, this is not an option. Airfare and hotel accommodations vary per trip and are not guaranteed with a specific airline or hotel chain. However, if you have a frequent flyer number, it can be added to your information we share with our travel agent.
In order to keep our trip costs affordable; the Short-term Sending staff purchase a team’s airfare as a group, with unique fares and we are unable to manage the details of individual circumstances.
Depending on the country you are traveling to, you may need to obtain a visa. If you are required, your team leader and the Stonecreek missions staff will help you with that process.
You can contact the local travel clinic and your primary care physician to learn the best time frame depending on your travel dates, destination and necessary vaccinations.
There is a deposit due at the time of the application approval. 25% of the total cost is typically due 120 days before departure, 50% due 90 days out and 100% due 30 days before departure. Please keep in mind that deadlines may vary per trip.
Specific details are available in the welcome packet once approved.
Apply now for a passport if you don’t have one!
After you receive your new passport number, update your application with that information. As per new rules for international airline travel, we are required to obtain and send the expiration date of your passport for booking travel, so we will need that information as soon as possible. If your passport expires less than six months after your departure date, you will need to renew your passport as soon as possible.
THE GREAT COMMISSION
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20
