As we continue to walk through the book of Hebrews together, we will be starting a new series called Covenants of God. We will be taking a look at the difference between the old covenant God made with His people and the new covenant that He established with Jesus as our Great High Priest. We will unpack how Jesus doesn’t just provide a new covenant, but one that is better and eternal. We will close the series by talking about the power of the blood of Jesus. His blood sealed this new covenant and brought about eternal redemption and new life that we are invited into.

WakeUp is an additional ministry environment we offer for our 6th and 7th grade students! It takes place in our student theater during our 9am service time every Sunday! Our goal is to provide a place for further discussion of content we discuss at Wake, and to encourage daily practice of spiritual rhythms in the lives of 6th and 7th graders. We understand that the move from elementary school to middle school is a big one. And the transition from Stonecreek Kids to Sunday services and Wednesday Wakes is so important and can be a lot for parents and students. We want to provide a space that helps ease this transition period and step into the gap. Our time together is centered around teaching our students practical ways to truly know Jesus, follow Jesus, and lead others to do the same, in an environment made specifically for 6th and 7th graders. This looks like opening the Bible together, teaching them how to spend time with God in His Word, praying with and for other students, and equipping them to boldly proclaim the name of Jesus wherever they go. One unique and awesome part of this ministry is that all group leaders are high school students who are passionate about discipling those younger than them. This gives our 6th and 7th grade students opportunities to build meaningful relationships with other Wake students and learn from those who are just a few steps ahead of them. These relationships open the door for intentional discipleship to be taking place throughout our student ministry.
